Gilgit, October 13: Mr. Najeeb Alam has been appointed as the Deputy Secretary Home Department , Gilgit-Baltistan, Internal Affairs Division.

Gold Medalist from Quaid-e-Azam University in International Relations, Najeeb is the Youngest Deputy Secretary in Gilgit – Baltistan, having previously worked as Deputy Secretary for Tourism.

Editor’s note: Pamir Times congratulates Mr. Najeeb Alam for his appointment and we believe that he will serve the people of Gilgit-Baltistan with his innovative ideas, knowledge and better judgement.  We believe that he is a role model for the youth of Gilgit-Baltistan.

  1. My heartiest congratulations to Mr. Najib Alam on his brilliant success and his current promotion to Deputy Secretary Home GB. I feel proud as i taught Najeeb Alam back 1992 to 1995 as his primary school teacher in Hunza Royal Academy, Karimabad, Hunza.

    A great news for the youth of Gilgit-Baltistan. Najeeb Alam is an inspirational figure to every one of us, I am sure he will successfuly devise his duties and will make us all proud. Apart from his academic excellence he got an oppurtunity to lead our GB with the United States Foreign Policy team in April 2011.
