Seminar on Youm-e-Shahadat Hazrat Ali (AS) held in Chitral

CHITRAL: A seminar was held today in Chitral town to commemorate martyrdom day of the fourth pious Caliph, Hazrat Ali (AS). District Coordination Officer Chitral Rahmatullah Wazir was chief guest on the occasion while the ceremony was presided by Maulana Sher Aziz Amir Jamat-e-Islami Chitral.

The seminar was attended by a large number of people belonging to all walks of life. The speakers paid rich tribute to Hazrat Ali who was not only the  son-in-law of the Holy Prophet but his cousin also and he had spent his entire childhood under supervision of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

The speakers said that Hazrat Ali was a brave fighter who conquered the Khyber Fort, after getting the Islamic Army’s flag from the holy Prophet.

Addressing the Youmi Shahadat Hazrat Ali conference DCO Chitral said that we have slipped from Islamic track and that is why our lives have been infested with problems. He said that if we follow the golden principles of our Islamic heroes and maxims of those noble persons we never will be misguided.

The speakers paid rich tribute to Hazrat Ali and termed him a great Islamic general, leader, a great intellectual, a kind and merficul ruler as well as a role model for Muslim Ummah.

The participants were enthralled by Naath Sharif recited by Huzaifa Khaleeq.

Those who spoke on the occasion were Haji Penin Shah EDO Agriculture retired, Qari Jamal Abdul Nasir, Maulana Israruddin Alhilal, Maulana Abdul Shakoor, Abdul Wali Advocate, DCO Chitral and Maulana Sher Aziz.
