  19. Darjat says:

Indeed a very sad news. What a great man! Late uncle Muhammad Afzal may have survived few more years if he would have avoided going back to the mountains and stayed down country.

He was one of the few exceptional elders from the mountain communities served in the Northern Scouts in the very first phase of youth recruitment by the government.- always a volunteer not only in the village but else where he visited. His inter personal and language skills (Brushaki, Shena, Urdu and Wakhi ) always facilitated inter and intra village dialouges, bulding relationship and resolving conflicts. Well known and friend of all age and gender and a very positive person.

We offer our condolances to sister Hanib, uncle Rehbar, Sarwar, Nishat, Mujeeb Sultana Bakhtullah, Aslam, Iqbal, his cousins, friends and all relatives. We pray for his soul to rest in eternal peace.
