Gilgit, May 04: Senior bureaucrat, Hafeez ur Rehman, currently functioning as Law Secretary, Secretary Local Government and and Principal Secretary to GB Governor ,has been promoted to Grade 20, according to sources.

The promotion has been hailed by public circles because Hafeez is renowned as an honest and upright civil servant of high calibre.

Hafeez has earlier served at different important departments within Gilgit – Baltistan, including the GBLA Secretariat and the Home Department.

He hails from Yasin Valley of Ghizer District, Gilgit – Baltistan.
