Governor Wazir Baig in his message said that all political reforms in Gilgit – Baltistan region have been introduced by the Pakistan Peoples Party. He also counted the abolition of FCR and the Chieftains’ rule from all parts of Gilgit – Baltistan as an achievement of Pakistan Peoples Party.

Its very unfortunate that the people of the region are still in deep slumber and the haven’t yet recognized whom to be considered their well wisher. The region should strive for its identity which has been badly jeopardized by the so called political parties. If these parties are that much sincere with the region why don’t they give legal status to GB.After sixty years of freedom the people of the region are not having access too the national assembly and the federal governments representatives bluntly declare GB disputed territory. If these political parties would not have intervened in the region then these people would not have been misled. It time for the educated people to think critically and come out of the web of traditional thinking.Otherwise we will be crashed by these parties who are among us to distort our identity.
